Dumpers or dump trucks, are important machines for any large project. Traditional site dumpers have a skip in the front with the driver just behind it, providing a maximum payload capacity of up to 10 tonnes. Today, the term “dumper” is used for a wide range of off-road vehicles, including articulated dump trucks (ADTs) with capacities of up to 60 tonnes as well as large mining dumpers that can hold as much as 360 tonnes. Most dumper types use four-wheel-drive, making them well-suited for challenging terrain. There are also tracked dumpers available.
